Symposium

Icelandic and international professionals in the field of classical singing are invited to a symposium at the Nordic House on October 24. The symposium will focus on the grassroots of the singing scene, its significance, and its role in relation to institutions such as opera houses and other performing arts venues. Participants will share their professional experiences, hear perspectives from international colleagues, and reflect on whether the role of the Icelandic grassroots scene may change in the wake of the new Icelandic national opera.
