Concert & talk - roots is the beating heart of the festival. Here, we bring the festival’s theme to center stage and explore it through dialogue, music, and reflections on the world we live in today.

For these concerts, we welcome guests whose roots stretch across different countries and cultures. They share their stories—of journeys, of transitions, of finding a sense of belonging in Iceland. Between conversations, music becomes our companion: classical vocal works performed as meditations on movement, change, and identity.

In this way, stories and song intertwine, creating a space where personal experience and music meet—revealing how deeply our roots shape who we are.
