Peter Pan and the lost treasure

Skellibjalla presents a remake of the musical Peter Pan with music by Leonard Bernstein, based on the classic fairy tale by J. M. Barrie.

In this version, the story is interwoven with powerful music from Leonard Bernstein’s Peter Pan musical, brought to life with new Icelandic translations by Vera Hjördís Matsdóttir. Young audiences, aged 5–9, are invited to a heartfelt theatrical experience that explores themes such as friendship, courage, humility, and the importance of standing up for oneself and others. The aim is also to encourage children to activate their imagination, write their own stories, and dare to dream big.
The musical will be staged on October 25th at 11:00 and 12:00 during Opera Days, as part of Harpa’s Family Program.
