Liam Kaplan graduated from Oberlin Conservatory after studying piano and composition. He has been a member of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra since 2024 and is a founding member of the New Reykjavik Trio. Liam has performed as soloist with various orchestras and received numerous awards for his work as both a pianist and a composer, including the BMI Young Composer Award in 2019. He has released several recordings, most recently the EP Sunflower Fields in 2025.
