Egill Gunnarsson

Egill Gunnarsson has conducted Góðir grannar since 2013. He studied classical guitar and singing at the Reykjavík College of Music. He graduated with a B.Mus. degree in composition from the same school in 1992, his main teachers being Snorri Sigfús Birgisson and Haukur Tómasson. He conducted the Iceland University Choir from 1995-2000. From 2000-2008 he studied composition, electronic music and film music in Scuola civica di musica in Milan. Since his return to Iceland, he has worked as a choral conductor, singer, teacher, composer and arranger.
