Sólveig Thoroddsen Jónsdóttir studied classical harp at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, receiving her Bachelor of Music degree in the summer of 2013. Growing interest in Historical Performance led her to continue her studies in the Early Music Department of the Hochschule für Künste Bremen in Germany, where she studied historical harps and obtained a Master of Music degree in July 2016. Sólveig has performed at festivals in Europe and Central America, such as Sumartónleikar í Skálholti in Skálholt, Iceland, XVIII Festival Internacional de Música Barroca Santa Ana in Costa Rica, Celebrating Sanctuary in Londonand 31 Festival de Música BAC Credomatic in Costa Rica.
