Anna Elísabet Sigurðardóttir was born in Reykjavík in 1997. She studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen where she finished her Master's degree. 

This year she is playing with the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra as well as teaching. Her viola was made by Yann Besson in 2011.
