Áslákur Ingvarsson attained a Bachelor's degree of Vocal performance from Iceland University of the Arts in 2021 and a Postgraduate degree as a Vocal concert soloist from The Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp in 2022.
Recently he has sung the role of Il Commendatore in The Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp's production of Mozart's Don Giovanni and the role of Marcello in La Musica Lirica's production of Puccini's La Boheme.
This winter Áslákur will sing the role of Dr. Malatesta in Óður's production of Donizetti's Don Pasquale in the National Theatre of Iceland.
Áslákur won the 1st price in the singing competition Vox Domini of the Association of Icelandic Singing Teachers in 2020 and was a recipient of Halldór Hansen price for outstanding academic achievement in 2021.
