Nina Sætherhaug, a mezzo-soprano, was educated at the Norwegian Academy of Music (NMH) and the Opera High School in Stockholm. She made her debut in 2008 in the role of Lisetta in Haydn's opera Il mondo della Luna at the Drottningholm Palace Theatre.
Nina is frequently used as a soloist in both opera and church music, and has also performed many concerts with lied and romantic repertoire.She has performed roles at, among others, Opera South, DNO & B (scene 2), Opera Festival Weeks in Kristiansund, Oslo Opera Festival, Vadstena Opera Festival, Opera di Setra and Tso Music Theater, West-Green House (London), Confindencen, Stavanger Concert Hall, and Hjertnes Culture House. Nina has also sung at numerous festivals and has on several occasions received scholarships from, among others, the Tom Wilhelmsen Scholarship Fund and the Royal Musical Academy (Kungliga musikaliska Akademien).
